University of Georgia Chooses LM Cases For Entertainment Case
This case was built for the University of Georgia by the S.I. division of LM Cases. The athletic department came to LM Cases with the idea of having a mobile entertainment center for their players when the team was on the road. The case features a 32″ Panasonic LCD monitor, Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 and a Panasonic 5.1 sound system with iPod dock & DVD player. The exterior case is constructed out of 3/8″ plywood laminated with red abs plastic, and features table legs in both lids and 4″ Colson casters.
The A/V system components are mounted in custom CNC inserts that were designed to hold the equipment in place and allow for connectivity between all compartments. All the inserts have vents designed into the foam inserts to allow the exhaust fans on each unit to function normally. Special thanks to the University of Georgia!
